E. Hale Whipkey, MAI

Mr. Whipkey received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wittenberg University, a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from The Ohio State University, the general appraiser certification from the State of Ohio in 1991, and the MAI designation from The Appraisal Institute in 1992.
Active as an appraiser since 1976, Mr. Whipkey has special expertise in tax appeal valuations and expert testimony gained from working as a staff appraiser for the State of Ohio, Board of Tax Appeals and Dept. of Tax Equalization. He has provided expert testimony in Board of Revision hearings and in the county, state and federal courts on a variety or property types and property rights issues, including tax cases, estate and probate issues, banruptcy and eminent domain cases. He also has extensive experience in site planning and land use analysis, consulting on numberous developments in central Ohio. Mr Whipkey is a MAP certified appraiser for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is an approved appraiser for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Wallace E. Burkey

Mr. Burkey is a Certified General Appraiser, by the State of Ohio. Mr. Burkey has over 40 years experience as a real estate appraiser and an Appraisal Supervisor with the Ohio Department of Taxation, Divisions of Tax Equalization and Public Utilities. He has testified as an expert witness in the State of Ohio and West Virginia. He has worked on the valuation of a variety of unique properties, including public utility properties, railroad lands and electric generating plants. With UIS he has emphasized corporate relocation appraisals and the analysis and valuation of unique and historic properties.

Alexander Harris

Mr. Harris received a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati. He has worked in the appraisal industry since 1995. He has a wide breadth of knowledge and experience gained from working as an indpendent fee appraiser and as a review appraiser and appraisal department manager for several financial institutions. While working with UIS he has worked on the appraisal of assisted living facilities for submission to HUD, for finance underwriting and on assignments involving a wide variety of commercial propeties.
Mr. Harris has specialized in the appraisal of the following property types:

Teresa D'Amico

Ms. D'Amico is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Residential Appraiser and has completed Residential Appraisal courses from HondrosCollege. She has a special interest in and has completed course work at Columbus StateCommunity College in Environmental Technology. Her work with UIS has included corporate relocation appraisals and the research and analysis of special use properties including campgrounds, vacation homes and a peat bog farm.

Michelle Callahan

Ms. Callahan received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from FranklinUniversity. She has over 20 years experience in the business community in the financial services, manufacturing and appraisal sectors. Her work with UIS has included research and data analysis for unique properties, such as an electric generating facility and a peat bog farm.
